John Denver is a popular performer and songwriter that has influenced many with his songs. The majority of his hits are inspired by Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. who was born Henry J. Deutschendorf from Roswell located in the state of New Mexico,, fell in Love with Colorado. He settled in Aspen. A few traveled toward Colorado after hearing Denver's popular national anthems in his new home. G. Brown the curator of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame stated that John Denver was the best musician to ever capture Colorado. In 2011 Denver was named the Hall of fame's first inductee. The state of Colorado is a popular symbol to people around the world. On my trips, I've met people who are from New Zealand or the other side. If you tell them that you're from Colorado, the first words they say are"Oh John Denver. Brown admitted. Take Me Home Country Roads was among Denver's top 10 solo success after performing in small folk groups. It was written, co-written and recorded by Bill Danoff. Danoff had written the song in the spirit of Johnny Cash, but Denver discovered the song's early versions and was aware that the song would be a top 10 chart hit. A few days after performing for a packed crowd on the streets of Washington D.C., the musician recorded the track.
